8th EFMC Young Medicinal Chemists’ Symposium

The European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) is funding grants for EFMC organised events with the aim to support the participation of young academic scientists. Upon application, EFMC will cover full registration fees of up to 25 applicants.
EFMC is offering combined grants for participation in the EFMC-ISMC 2021 and the 8th EFMC Young Medicinal Chemist Symposium (EFMC-YMCS). Recipients of the grants will thus have to sign up for both events.
To apply for a EFMC grant, please fill in the application form for EFMC-ISMC and upload your CV, publication list, abstract, motivation letter and support letter from the supervisor.
Deadline for sending in your application is March 25, 2021.
Important remark: A grant application does not automatically register you to the conference. If your grant application is accepted, you will have to register to the conference, and submit your abstract again. If you wish to be considered for an Oral Communication at the EFMC-ISMC, you will have to register to the conference before April 2. In case your grant application is refused, free cancelation will be possible.
Please be informed that following new EFMC regulations, only the members of an EFMC National Adhering Organisation will be allowed to apply for the EFMC grants.
To support the participation of young academic scientists from developing economies, the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) will cover full registration fees of up to 25 applicants.
To be elligible for the grant, the applicant must be originating from a country with a developing economy, as listed by the World Bank.
To apply for the grant, please send your CV, publication list, abstract, motivation letter and support letter from the supervisor to administration@efmc.info, mentionning as subject "EFMC-YMCS Grant Application".
